Montblanc Homer – Ballpoint Pen
Montblanc’s new Writers Edition draws its inspiration mainly from the story of the Trojan horse.
The Trojan horse, probably the most famous ploy in history. After ten years of war, Ulysses, according to the story of the Odyssey, manages to enter the city walls by deception.
The Greeks pretend to desist from the siege by starting their ships but leave on the beach, in front of the city walls, an immense wooden horse which, however, contains Ulysses himself with his best soldiers inside.
The shape of the pen echoes that of the horse, with the back and the clip inspired by a spear.
The engraving on the cone and the rings feature motifs inspired by Greek vases with black figures, which also inspire the general color of the writing instrument.
